Non-traditional Subway restaurant locations provide a flexible and creative way to capitalize on high-traffic spaces, captive audiences, and extra space within businesses and public areas. Here are just a few reasons why they work:
  • Highly recognizable brand that people know and trust with craveable menu options.
  • Flexible, custom-designed floor plans, adaptable to almost any space.
  • Operations are simple. No cooking, grilling, or frying is required.
  • Our products are consistent and highly portable for “on-the-go” customers.
  • Subway has menu options for all day parts: breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
  • We are developing innovative and convenient programs, such as Grab & Go.

More than 9,000 non-traditional restaurants are open and operating in 85 countries.

Non-traditional locations can include: Airports, Colleges & Universities, Hospitals, Military Bases, Travel Plazas, Convenience & Gas Locations, Amusement Parks, Casinos, and Department Stores.

You can be the Subway franchisee, or you can just lease space—either option is possible. We will review your site and work with you to determine which option makes the most sense. In addition, we can work with your existing food service contractor to add a Subway restaurant to your location.

Franchisees buy food directly from our approved suppliers.
